PEA PROTEIN is a protein that can be substituted for Whey Protein. The protein is extracted primarily from the YELLOW PEA. It is a great source of protein with approximately 11 GRAMS OF PROTEIN per 1/4 cup. Many vegans prefer this protein over other sources of protein such as dairy, meat, and eggs.

Due to the fact that it contains legumin, pea protein has similar properties to casein protein and it contains an amino acid profile. Pea protein has a neutral flavor which makes it perfect as an ingredient added to any smoothie recipe.
