Smoothie Recipes| Banana Orange Smoothie

Sometimes it can be difficult to prepare breakfast while on the go. Sometimes you just don’t feel like pulling over to a restaurant and waiting in line either.

Breakfast is an important meal of the day and should not be neglected or forgotten. That’s why we’ve created an easy and high nutrient smoothie to make on the go. Complex carbs for energy, Protein, Potassium, and Vitamin C!


  • 1 whole banana peeled
  • 1/2 peeled orange
  • 1/2 cup plain quaker oats
  • 1 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 scoop of whey protein powder (preferably strawberry, vanilla, or banana flavored)
  • 1/2 cup ice


  1. Place banana, orange in blender
  2. Pour in ground cinnamon and whey protein powder
  3. Add ice
  4. Pour in almond milk
  5. Blend for 30-40 secs
  6. Serve and enjoy

  • Carbohydrates – 17 grams
  • Sugars – 10 grams
  • Fiber – 3 grams
  • Protein – approx 10 grams (depends on protein powder)

  • Magnesium – 6% DV
  • Zinc – 0% DV

Don’t forget that snacks are important as well so make your smoothie and take an apple for later!
